Does your life sometimes feel as clear as mud?

Are you feeling trapped and overwhelmed with all the emails, social media, phone calls and texts that come at you all day long?  Do you feel that there is no division between your personal life and your work life?  Does your mind go a million miles an hour and you just wish you could stop and get off the merry-go-round?

If you do, you are not alone.  If you don't, you may find yourself at this place at some point in time just as the horse above illustrates!

I am thrilled to announce that I'm participating in a new book launch called "Clarity" that I can highly recommend that will help you become clear on what is important and what isn't.  While that sounds like an easy concept - it is truly difficult sometimes to take time out of the chaos to plan the life you want to lead.

The author Jamie Smart  is an internationally renowned writer, speaker, coach and consultant. He shows individuals and organizations the unexpected keys to clarity; the ultimate leverage point for creating more time, better decisions and meaningful results.

The book encourages you to "think less and achieve more".  That has great appeal to me!  The analogy he uses in his book that really struck home with me is in his description of a muddy pond.  If we are in the pond, all we see is mud and even though it serves no purpose, we keep working harder and harder to fix it and to make the pond clear.  In reality, the only way to accomplish this is to do nothing and let the mud settle.  Now, doesn't that sound  a lot easier than working at the warp speed most of us do?

Often we are so busy trying to clear up the mud, that we miss taking the steps necessary for ourselves in all aspects of our lives.  As you know, my personal passion is to help people manage their finances, so they are on auto-pilot and become a source of contentment rather than tension, stress and arguments amongst couples.

I am happy to announce that Jamie Smart will be doing a "virtual blog tour" with me on Tuesday, March 25th.  I have sent him three questions that I get asked the most often and he is going to provide his insight to share with all of us.

In the meantime, if you would like to get a copy of his book, it is launching today and you can purchase it at either:  (U.S.)    - Click here (Canada)    - Click here      (note it says the book isn't yet available, but it is and will ship to you within 10 - 14 days

or get it instantly with the Kindle version.

I'd love to hear your comments about the book.  But, for now...I'm going to do nothing and get lots done!

Cheers!  Diana Young
